Quotes settings


	Outlook		A random Quotation from the selected tags or private Quotes below will be added to your default Outlook signature. If this checkbox does not add a Quote to your Outlook signature you can manually add a signature in your Outlook signature directory. See below 'other mailers' setting.
	Windows Mail		Like Outlook, but then for Windows Mail (Vista, Windows 7) or Outlook Express (XP and earlier).
	Other Mailers		For other e-mail applications Quotes will create a signature file for you with random quotations. For example Thunderbird is supported this way. Read more.
	Other Mailers		Use this textbox to select the directory where you want to store your signature file. By default a generic location will be used, read more. You can also use this feature to connect with Outlook if the checkbox above does not work.
	Hotkey		Activate a hotkey to invoke inserting a random Quotation from the selected tags belows. Press the Windowskey plus Q to insert a Quotation in whatever application, for example Gmail. Your clipboard will contain the Quotation after this pressing the above mentioned keys. You need to restart the Quotes client to activate this setting.
	Hotkey Letter		Q is the default Hotkey letter. With this setting you can choose to use another letter to insert random Quotations with one click. You must restart your Quotes client application to activate this setting.
	Highest rating		Only select Quotations with a rating higher than 4 stars from the tags below.
	Change interval		The timing interval in minutes that Quotes will use to change your random Quotation in your email.

Quotes categories

	Quotes & Tags		The Quotes application uses quotations from Quotefreak. Quotations are categorized using tags. When you contribute to Quotefreak by adding your own quotations you can use an existing tag or define a new one. By default quotations are shared with everyone on Quotefreak. To contribute Quotations both public and private click here.
	Selected Tags for use in Quotes
	Add tag		The textbox will autocomplete, type slowly and a dropdown will appear with tags. By default public tags from Quotefreak are shown. To add to the public collection of Quotes on Quotefreak click here.
	Add private tag		The textbox will autocomplete, type slowly and a dropdown will appear with tags. Select Quotes from your private tag collection on Quotefreak. To start building your own private collection of Quotes click here.
